God created all things: stars and planets, plants and animals, and every human being. He is king over everything and everyone forever. His name is the Lord. He is completely good, never doing anything wrong. He teaches truth through the one God-spoken book, the Bible.
The Lord determined that, after life on Earth, each person’s soul will spend forever either with Him in the most wonderful place (called “heaven”) or apart from Him in the most terrible place (called “hell”). The problem is that we all have done wrong, we each deserve punishment in hell, and none of us can get ourselves out of trouble.
Yet in the greatest-ever act of love, God’s only Son—Jesus the Savior—received the full punishment for all of our wrongs by suffering and dying on a wooden cross, afterward rising to life again. Only through Jesus can we turn from bad to good, wrong to right, hell to heaven.
We each must make a decision, and the time is short: we must decide whether to acknowledge the truth and believe in Him. As the Bible says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
You will never make a more important decision, and God is listening. You can turn to Him now with words like these: “Lord, I believe You are the one true God, completely sovereign and good. I’m sorry for wronging You. Jesus, I believe You are the Lord, that You paid the penalty for all of my sins by dying for me, and that You rose from the dead. Thank You. My life is now forever Yours. Amen.”
